Somnia Bridge

Somnia Bridge

Somnia Bridge is bridging infrastructure built on Somnia Agents and secured by the Somnia Validator Network. Validators observe transfers on other chains and attest to them as part of Somnia consensus, so assets arrive quickly, at low cost, without a separate relayer network or multisig in the middle.

Move value onto Somnia in moments, for cents.

Why Somnia Bridge

Fast

Transfers are attested by Somnia Agents and finalised on Somnia in under a second, rather than waiting on an external relayer network to batch and confirm.

Cheap

Attestation runs as an agent job priced per request, and settlement costs Somnia gas, a fraction of a cent. There is no separate operator margin stacked on top.

Secured by the Somnia Validator Network

Each transfer is checked by validators on the Somnia Validator Network and recorded with signed receipts, instead of trusting a small external committee or a bridge multisig.

Straight into the markets

Bridged assets land as onchain balances ready to trade, post as collateral or lend, so moving onto Somnia and putting capital to work is one flow.

How a transfer works

  1. Send. A user sends assets to the bridge contract on the source chain.
  2. Observe. Somnia Agents read the source-chain event from independent data sources.
  3. Attest. Validators on the Somnia Validator Network agree the transfer happened and sign a receipt.
  4. Release. The assets are minted or released on Somnia, final in under a second.
  5. Use. The balance is live onchain. Reactivity handlers can route it straight into a trade, a vault or a loan.

Capabilities

  • Agent attestation. Source-chain transfers verified by Somnia Agents rather than a separate relayer network.
  • Validator Network security. The Somnia Validator Network agrees each transfer before funds are released.
  • Signed receipts. Every transfer carries a receipt showing what was observed and who attested to it.
  • Sub-second settlement. Release on Somnia inherits the chain's deterministic finality.
  • Low cost per transfer. Agent fees plus Somnia gas, with no operator margin on top.
  • Reactive deposits. Contracts can act on an arriving transfer in the same block.
