Introduction
Somnia is the decentralized platform for onchain finance: order books, matching, oracles, agents and settlement running onchain on a high-throughput EVM network.
Somnia is a platform for building markets onchain. The order books, matching engine, oracle, agents and settlement all run as smart contracts on Somnia's EVM Layer 1, so a venue built on Somnia inherits the same liquidity, the same receipts and the same tooling as every other venue.
These docs are a preview of the new Somnia documentation. Product sections are placeholders generated from the platform site's copy; each will be sourced from its product's own repository.
