Somnia Privacy
Somnia Privacy
Somnia Privacy brings privacy pools to Somnia. Deposit into a shared pool, then transact or withdraw with a zero-knowledge proof, so positions, balances and counterparties stay private, while association sets let you prove your funds are not linked to illicit sources.
Confidential capital, with compliance built in.

Why Somnia Privacy
Keep strategy and positions private
Desks, funds and treasuries move capital without broadcasting their balances, counterparties or trading intent to every observer on the chain.
Prove what matters, reveal nothing else
Withdrawals carry a zero-knowledge proof that the funds belong to an approved association set, without revealing which deposit they came from.
Selective disclosure for auditors
Viewing keys let an account share its history with an auditor, administrator or regulator, without making it public.
Built into the markets
Shielded balances sit on the same chain as the order books, USDso and Somnia Lend, so private capital can still settle, trade and borrow.
How a privacy pool works
- Deposit. Assets go into a shared pool contract, and the depositor keeps a private note that proves ownership.
- Screen. Association set providers publish sets of deposits that meet their criteria, such as excluding sanctioned sources.
- Prove. To withdraw or transfer, the owner generates a zero-knowledge proof of ownership and of membership in a chosen association set.
- Withdraw. The pool verifies the proof onchain and releases funds to a fresh address, unlinked to the original deposit.
- Disclose if needed. A viewing key lets the owner reveal their history to a chosen party, such as an auditor, without making it public.
Capabilities
- Shielded pools. Deposits mix in a shared pool, breaking the public link between sender and recipient.
- Zero-knowledge proofs. Ownership and set membership are proven without revealing the deposit.
- Association sets. Approved sets exclude funds tied to illicit activity, chosen by the user at withdrawal.
- Viewing keys. Selective, revocable disclosure of an account's history to chosen parties.
- Public exit. Depositors can always withdraw publicly back to their original address.
- Cheap verification. Proofs verify onchain at Somnia gas prices, a fraction of a cent.
